This is the first post of my new blog. It appears, for some unknown reason, Facebook decided to erase all my posts and my "ban Facebook" group. I guess they did not appreciate the humor in it. Mark Zuckerberg never did strike me as someone it would be fun to "share ideas" with. Since he tends to steal them and claim them as his own, according to the movie at least.
I was happy to see the story about retired Cardinal Mahoney of Los Angeles being wrist slapped by the Arch Bishop of the area. It gave me an opportunity to post comments both at the +Los Angeles Times website and +Gary Robbins San Diego Union Tribune. I also attempted to post comments/contact +Bill Maher and +The Rachel Maddow Show about the question of how the catholic church can still enjoy tax free status in any city, state or the country of the United States of America.
I have been trying to work on book ideas and apply for nursing jobs outside of San Diego. Palm Springs and San Francisco are the most likely candidates right now. Wish me luck anyone. I was able to register at a second food bank so that as my ever dwindling funds run out I at least can get some groceries to share once a month at two places now.

I can't believe that I am just posting a second comment now. My situation has not changed. No one will even contact me about a job. I had a scary thought tonight when I came up with the perfect idea for a PhD dissertation. I have always sworn I would NEVER go back to school because the American College System is such a racket. I am going to see if I can just get a company to sponsor the research study independently after I patent the idea.
ReplyDeleteI would like it to end with a "Dauphinais's Theory of" however so a PhD might be a must. Perhaps a college or government entity might have a scholarship program I can apply for.
